Vintage Christmas Suitcase Roadside Rescue

Good Monday Morning My Beauties!
It was a busy weekend, as is usually the case around here,
but I was able to get one project done.

Since I don't do too much decorating for Thanksgiving (I kind of pop out any halloween decor
I had up and add more harvest type decor to it) I have been trying
to work on some Christmas Crafts.
I went over to the Graphics Fairy
and printed off some of her gorgeous Vintage Christmas Images.

I then went out to my garage and grabbed this old suitcase that I had gotten for free on
a Roadside rescue where I also had picked up my
Humpty Dumpty Rescue Desk

I glued the graphics down to the top of the suitcase.

I then took a Christmas stencil I had and used a little trick I love. I sprayed Gold spray paint into a cap and used that as the paint for the stencil. When it was all dry I sprayed the whole top with Spray Poly to protect it.

This is what I ended up with.
A cute little vintage suitcase that can be used to store Christmas cards or other trinkets.
I hope you enjoyed this quick fun little tutorial.
I will try to get up another furniture post this week too. I finished a dresser and two night stand set
but the weather has not been cooperating for pictures. Hopefully
I will get some acceptable shots for you to see.
Until then, have a BEAUTIFUL day.
