Wicker storage basket Dresser MAKE OVER!

Good Morning my Beauties!
I showed you a couple weeks ago that I had sold this piece.
But what I had not shown you was that I had 2...:)

I had picked these up at Goodwill and they were in pretty rough shape. But the baskets that came in them were just too cool.
I had no Idea I was going to end up keeping one of them until I started painting.

I used my Michigan Pine by Ce Ce Caldwells.
I gave them some paint and waxed and distressed them
and fell so in love with how they turned out that I had to keep one..:)

You see with the baskets I was able to HIDE a bunch of my stuff that the hubby hates to see just laying around..:) Papers, Pens, Paint Brushes,

and even better yet, the big drawer on the bottom holds my silhouette cameo.

and one whole drawer fits just my acrylic paints...It was meant to be!

The great thing is it fits perfectly in my den and I can keep my printer on top of it. I never thought I would be able to be organized (only slightly..I still have other messes...:))
and have it look good.

Sorry about the pictures. As you know the weather has not really been great for lighting and after 3 photo shoots these were the best I could get.
It really is more fabulous in person.
The nice thing was the one I sold covered the cost for the both sets of drawers paint and labor.
So I broke even. NOT bad in a days work...:)

I hope you all have a BEAUTIFUL day!

I've never seen a basket dresser that looks this sturdy! The baskets themselves look like they'll out last the dresser itself! You've done yersef proud on this 'un, girl!!

What a great dresser project, Karin--the baskets are really neat. So cool to find and create just the right piece that gives you just the right storage to meet your needs! I love the shade of green you chose--it's pretty.

Karin, can you tell me please what wax you used ? And how you used it ? did you tint the wax ? Would appreciate your information on this great transformation.

I spotted this and I had to come take a look because I got the same one from the thrift store a couple months ago! I haven't done anything with mine, but this is great inspiration for what I was trying to accomplish! Can you tell me what kind of wax and paint you used? Also, mine doesn't have a bottom drawer so I've been trying to find one. Any idea what company made this?

Thanks!
